Broadly categoried, there are two categories of Buddhist teaching (desanā). They are the conventional teaching (sammuti desanā) and the ultimate teaching (paramattha desanā). The conventional teaching deals with the conventional truth (sammuti sacca) and the ultimate teaching deals with ultimate Truth (paramattha sacca). Conventional truth pertains to apparent reality that is impermanent (anicca). The ultimate truths pertains to the eternal principle of Non-self (Anattā). The integration between the impermanence and the Permanence of Eternity creates and sustains the entire cosmos.
